Analysis of Typical Groundwater Storage Patterns in Bedrock Mountainous Areas: A Case Study of Shunping County
-
Abstract
Based on the geological data including surface exploration, geophysical prospecting technology, and combination of the exploration and production in well custruction, this paper systematically summarizes and analyzes the typical groundwater storage patterns in Shunping County, a bedrock mountainous area in western Baoding. The study reveals that there are six typical groundwater storage patterns in this area, including fault-controlled storage, karst-controlled storage, syncline-controlled storage, monocline-controlled storage, weathering-crust-controlled storage, and aquiclude-controlled storage. The research provides a scientific basis for the rational development and utilization of local groundwater resources, which is conductive to solve the drinking water shortage problem faced by local residents and domestic animals.
