Research Status and Prospect of Landslide Deformation Monitoring Technology

Abstract
Landslide disasters pose a severe threat to human life and property safety, and landslide monitoring remains a critical challenge in geologic disaster-prone countries. The current research status of landslide deformation monitoring technologies is summarized in this paper. Common landslide deformation monitoring techniques are classified including point-type, line-type, surface-type and geophysical monitoring, and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed and compared. The existing problems in the current research are discussed, and future research and development trends are proposed, including the innovation and improvement of sensor technology, the development of diversified monitoring means, and the construction of landslide deformation monitoring and early warning system, which is prospected to provide references for related research.
